BIG GAME RIFLE AND ARCHERY HUNTS

High Lonesome Hunts offers both rifle and archery hunts. Some are tougher than others, requiring considerable walking and climbing. Don’t worry; we’ll adjust the hunt to your pace and physical ability.

Hunting seasons vary from year to year. Bow season generally begins around September 1; rifle deer season begins October 1; rifle elk season usually runs from late October through December.

The location and lodging depend on the trip you book. For most hunts we stay in mountain cabins with all the comforts of home. Some trips are run out of tent camps. In either case, you can be assured of excellent meals and secure accommodations.
